TETRA CHAIR / AMERICAN VERSAILLES

EXHIBITION

METRO DETROIT, MI

2024

Amidst a collection of design icons that defined eras, the Tetra Chair by JUDEXAYA emerged as a sculptural anomaly, bridging the past, present, and future of design. Rooted in the geometry of the tetrahedron, its sharp, faceted form defied conventional boundaries, inviting reflection on the evolving essence of design.

As a presence within the exhibition, Tetra Chair stood in dialogue with celebrated works by Eero Saarinen, Harry Bertoia, and Charles and Ray Eames. Its minimal yet radical form provoked questions about utility, art, and the uncharted directions of design’s future.

In Tetra Chair, JUDEXAYA embodied the essence of what lies ahead, crafting a vision of design that challenges convention while embracing the unknown possibilities of tomorrow.
